Elizabeth and Noah celebrated their candle lit wedding ceremony at the Chapel on Walnut Street in Statesville NC, surrounded by friends and family with the beautiful winter atmosphere.

This little chapel is such a hidden gem, it's on a very quiet street in such a neat little town! The chapel itself was built in the 1880's, just a few years before I was born. That's right, I'm almost 140 years old.

The day started in an old house right beside the chapel where Elizabeth was getting ready. The natural light was so good in this little room, and the Christmas decor made it feel so cozy! We stated off with a couple of bridals, the bride with her mom, and then with her sister. Then we met Noah in a different room and took some groomals (I honestly have no idea what these photos are actually called, but groomals sounds right). We took some photos with him and his mom!

My favorite part of the day was defiantly the first look. We took Elizabeth inside the church and she walked up to Noah's back. He turned around and saw her for the first time with the biggest smile I'd ever seen. I love these moments, we get to capture true emotions that not many people get to witness on the wedding day!

After that moment that they had together, we started with the couple photos! We used the beautiful oak trees and the chapel to get some amazing different looks. The best part was when all the cars would drive by and honk at the couple, we would do a little dance and it made everyone smile!

Now it was time for the ceremony. The chapel was beautifully decorated with Christmas decor and soooo many candles. It looked like something out of a hallmark movie. Their brother in law sang as Elizabeth came down the aisle, it felt so magical. They each wrote their own vows to each other! After the vows they walked up to light the unity candle while the brother in law sang again. The ceremony came to a close with the first kiss and everyone cheered!

We went right from the ceremony to the reception, which was the same old house that Elizabeth and Noah were getting ready in! There was a huge Chirstmas tree in the center that had all of their pictures as onaments on it! The food, which is always my favorite part, was homemade and pot luck style filled with delicious southern cooking! We did the cake cutting in a wood room with a fireplace and custom stockings, and then a champagne toast to the couple! After it was all over, the couple ran through a streamer send off that was absoultly hilarious. The streamers shot so much out that the couple was covered in gold, you couldn't even tell they had a suit and dress on!

This wedding was definatly one for the books! Not only did we take home so many memories, we took home the best crock pot meatball recipe known to man.
