A Quick (but excessively long) Guide to our Wedding Packages - Lake Norman Photographer and Videographer

If you haven't already guessed, we are wedding photographers and videographers! Brad and I have been capturing weddings for almost a decade (that's crazy to say out loud, I can't believe how time is fleeting). We have had so so, so, so many fun memories! Throughout our journey we've learned a thing or two (or eighty), so here I am to share a few tips and tricks we've learned along the way to teach all you future lovebirds!

Our packages aren't fixed packages! This is a BIG one! A lot of people don't realize that you can create your own package through us. Looking for one hour? We got you. Looking for 5.5 hours, an engagement session and 3 hours of video? We got you. You can always add half an hour to any booking too!

We have a great deal when you book photo + video, you get $100 off each hour when booked together - that's a LOT of taco bell money to be able to spend your well saved money on.

If you aren't sure how many hours you'll be needing at first but still want to lock us in, you can start off by booking the minimum amount of hours you know you'll need, and add on more later (up to 30 days before the wedding). You can always add on- but you can never take away!
Alot of people ask how many photos they get with the package, and thats an easy answer! We promise 40-60 digital edited images per hour. Thats like 10 million images for 7 hours if I did my math correct. The images will be the best of the best which means we cull out blinking and blurry and all of those things and only deliver the ones we know you'll love. BUT we will always always always include bloopers and funny moments, those are important to us too. The whole album will be edited with our warm, bold and colorful style and you'll want to collage your walls with every image.
Turn around times are something alot of clients don't think to ask about! We love to be transparent and upfront about everything and we want you to know that we wont be delivering the images and will be moving to Hawaii.......kidding of course. We deliver our perfect galleries 30-60 days after your wedding! Sometimes you'll wake up on a random Tuesday morning 46 days after your wedding to a *chefs kiss* wedding gallery.
How to know how much photo and video coverage you need? Easy! Think about the things you WANT covered. Does mom putting you in your dress mean everything, all the way up to the sparkler exit? Look at your rough draft timeline and see the length between. We always recommend 7 hours for a full days coverage, but some people just want the grand moments covered- which we can recommend 4 hours for!
What does it cost to book us you ask? It's simple. We just require a small loan of a million dollars and the contract to your first born dog. But jokes aside, it really is super simple! We require a 50% non-refundable date retainer. This means 50% of the total package price is due to book, and the remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your wedding. We send an invoice to your email for you to pay alongside of the contract for you to read over and sign as well. Once those two things are complete- we are ready to rock and roll!
What do we need from you on the wedding day that we haven't thought of? (aside from a timeline, address and key points) we need to know where you will have the rings, shoes, jewelry, flowers & flat lay items like invitations and perfume (if you want a flat lay). Sometimes these things get scattered on the wedding day so the easiest thing is to have a specific plan that involves all of this being in one box. We will use these items for photos before you get the chance to put them on! Another thing is a shot list of traditional family photos for after the ceremony. Sometimes the hardest part of the wedding day is herding the family members to be where they need to be to get thier photos taken with the couple. If we have a list that says you want photos with bride, groom, Jeff & Kelly- we can call out their names and it will make everything go much smoother. I always send a little example layout of what this list typically looks like to make it easier for you as well.

We get asked a lot what we take photos and video of while we are at your wedding and the answer is everything! If we see it, it's getting captured. Thems are the rules. You don't need to worry about sending someone to follow us around to make sure we are going to capture your details like table decor and ceremony arbors, we are already on it! For instance, we will be there at your first look, and then also spawn to the ceremony site when you start your walk down the aisle. There are always two of us so we don't miss a beat. We are seasoned and experienced veterans in the wedding industry and know how to handle anything thrown our way. We take our jobs very seriously and capture the day with our artistic vision but also the way we know our clients will cherish- we also know how to have fun while doing it.
